Has your 2020 or newer Chevrolet that you purchased or leased brand new been giving you problems? You came to the right place.
Here you can learn about the California Lemon Law for your Chevrolet car, truck, SUV, or van. Our California Lemon Law does not cover Chevrolet’s purchased used, unless sold at GM dealer as GM Certified Pre-Owned.
What does it take to have a California Lemon Law case on your Chevrolet? Here are the criteria that you must meet:
In the first 18 months or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first, the vehicle spends a cumulative of 30 or more documented days in the dealers shop – OR – it has a defect which is likely to result in serious injury or death, and has been subject to a minimum of 2 repair attempts for this same issue.
AND/OR…
During the 3 year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, and/or the 5 year/60,000 mile Chevrolet Powertrain Warranty, it has been subject to repeated repair attempts for the SAME issue. How many repair attempts will ultimately be dictated by the severity of the issues, and repairs made.
You do NOT need to call Chevrolet corporate. California Lemon Law for Chevrolet’s allows you to go direct to a California Lemon Law Attorney for free representation. You cannot call corporate AND have an attorney represent you. One, or the other. Not both. Contact Us
You think your Chevrolet is a “lemon”, but how do you know if it actually qualifies for California Lemon Law protection? You provide the lemon law attorney with the following documents for review on your Chevrolet, and see if it qualifies:
Copy of front side of Purchase or Lease Agreement, top-to-bottom.
All pages of all completed (closed out) dealer repair order INVOICES. This is the copy they give you when you go back after warranty repairs.
If vehicle is in the shop now, the current “open” work order.
Once your documents have been reviewed, your case specialist from the law firm will call you. If it meets criteria, you will be offered free representation to get your money back under the California Lemon Law on your Chevrolet.
